Prices
All prices, including those
of shipping, are as quoted at the time of ordering. Tablewhere reserves the
right to change these prices at any time. It may not always be possible to
quote shipping costs at the time of ordering (especially for overseas orders),
in which case the customer agrees to pay these costs once the parcel has been
packed and weighed.
Terms of payment
Orders are to be paid for in full before
goods can be despatched.
Condition of goods
The majority of items sold by Tablewhere are
from discontinued or obsolete ranges and may have been purchased from previous
owners. On rare occasions, some may be slight seconds but with no noticeable
faults. Although we endeavour to provide pieces in excellent condition, our
customers accept that on close scrutiny some pieces may show signs of use.
Order cancellation
For purchases of items held in stock,
amendments to the order can be made up until the time of despatch. In
accordance with statutory rights, a customer is able to cancel their order up
to seven days from the day after receiving the goods. If the company is not at
fault the customer will be liable for packing, handling and shipping costs and
will be refunded less these costs.
If Tablewhere has already placed an order with a third party
manufacturer on a customer’s behalf, we reserve the right to refuse
cancellation. We cannot be held responsible for manufacturer delays; therefore
these terms remain the same regardless of the time elapsed.
When cancellation is agreed, a discretionary administration charge will
be payable by the customer of not less than 25% of the order value – part of
this cost may already be covered by a deposit.
In accordance with
the Distance Selling Regulation 2000, notification of cancellation must be
in writing either by either by email to sales@tablewhere.co.uk or by post to Tablewhere Ltd., 4
Queens Parade Close, London N11 3FY
Loss in transit
Orders can take up to 10 days to be processed
and delivered. In the event that an order is not received after this period, we
must be notified immediately. This will enable us to track the parcel with the
couriers and determine liability for the loss. Once liability is determined, we
will endeavour to replace items that have been lost in transit. If we are
unable to do so, a refund will be issued for the total amount of the order.
If a parcel has been delivered correctly and
signed for, the goods will be considered received and the company will not be
liable for any loss.
Damage in transit
Damaged goods should be returned or
photographed, clearly showing the ‘Tablewhere guarantee’ sticker. A refund will
be issued on receipt of this proof.
Goods returned
Arrangements must be made with our returns department before pieces are accepted. All customer information, including a telephone number and reason for return should be provided with the goods.
Part orders
Occasionally it may not be possible to fulfil
entire orders. In these circumstances we will endeavour to provide the missing
items after the initial shipment has been made. If we are unable to provide the
items after 28 days, a refund will be issued for the goods. A priority waiting
list is operated for these customers who will be the first to be contacted when
new stock arrives.
Acceptance of these terms
Unless notification is received within 7 days
of placing order/ receipt of goods the customer will be deemed to have accepted
all of these terms and conditions.
English Law
These Terms & Conditions are subject to
English Law. Your Statutory Rights are not affected. English Law will prevail
in any dispute, regardless of the location of the customer and/or origin of the
transaction.
